Select Charity Horse Association (SCHA) is a U.S. nonprofit dedicated to turning the excitement of the show ring into tangible community impact. Through horse shows, grants, and partnerships, we support equine welfare, youth development, and local charities that strengthen lives on and off the rail.
Our Mission
To harness the passion of the horse community to raise funds, elevate welfare standards, and open doors for youth and families, creating a lasting legacy of generosity through equestrian sport.
Why We Do It
Charity Horse Shows – Host/underwrite premier shows that raise funds for vetted nonprofits.
Grants & Sponsorships – Provide small grants to equine rescues, rider scholarship funds, and youth leadership programs.
Community Giving – Channel event proceeds to local food banks, family-service groups, and health initiatives.
Welfare & Education – Promote responsible horsemanship, safety, and humane care through clinics and resources.
Select Charity Horse Show – Our flagship multi-day show featuring hunter/jumper and all-around divisions, exhibitor parties, and charity spotlights.
Derby Under the Lights – Evening class highlighting sport and philanthropy, with proceeds directed to featured nonprofits.
Leadline for Good – A family-friendly class introducing young riders to the joy of giving.
Clinic & Care Day – Pro-led sessions on horse care, sport psychology, and rider wellness, benefiting equine welfare partners.
Donate – Fuel grants for rescues, youth scholarships, and community partners.
Sponsor – Brand visibility in-arena, in programs, and online while funding impact.
Volunteer – Help with registration, awards, schooling rings, hospitality, and charity activations.
